Today we relaxed and then help the Bigler's pack up. You just started to blow bubbles...it is so cute. I haven't been able to get a picture yet but I'm sure you will continue to do it. ;o)

Day 41
Monday 9/14/09
Today you had your one month Doctor appointment and you have grown SO MUCH! You weighed 11 lbs. 10 oz., 21.5" Long, and 15.5" head circumference. You also got your Hepatitis B vaccination. While we were there I had a few questions for the Doctor, the biggest question I had was about you tongue. The conection under your tongue is very close to the tip of your tongue and I have been wondering if that will affect your speach in the future or if your tongue will grow. So I asked the Doctor to look at it and to tel me if it might need to be clipped. He looked and then said "I'm going to go get some scissors." Now I did not hear him say scissors and so I thought he was just going to get the shot, but when he came back I saw them in his hand and was SHOCKED. I said, "your going to do it now?" he said "yes it is a little tight." I didn't want to look but unfortunately I had to help him hold your arms down. It was one quick snip and he quickly gave you your shot in the leg. He then told me "pick him up and tell him you're sorry." I loved that because as your mom I want to protect you from EVERYTHING especially pain and so it is hard for me to watch you go through even a little pain like a vaccination even though I know in the long run it is good for you. So I snuggled you and then fed you and you calmed right down. You are such a brave boy. I love you so much!!!!

Today you were VERY good at church, you needed to be held most the time but you hardly made a peep even though you were awake most the time. After church the Bishop gave us your Blessing certificate but I realized on the car ride home there were a BUNCH of mistakes they flip flopped your name to be Frank Hunter, they added a 1 in front of your birth date so it said you were born on the 15th and they misspelled Riverside. So we will have to get a new one next week. After lunch you and Daddy had a nap on the bed together. I love when you both are asleep on the bed because you always sleep in the same position as Daddy, it is so cute. In the evening we went over to the Bigler's for dinner and to help them pack up their house.

Today you watched your first football game with Daddy. You were gazing up at him like he was the coolest and you were trying to figure out how to do what he does. Then you both fell asleep in the chair. You also started sucking your fingers/thumb today. Daddy saw you sucking your thumb yesterday but this was the first time I saw it.

Day 38
Friday 9/11/09
Today we had some special times hanging together, in the evening I read you some books. The best was the book "Love You Forever." It is such a cute book and it made me cry because it is true. When I read the book it says "she picked him up and rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth" and as I read it I rocked you. It may sound dumb, but it was such a GREAT moment, and I hope we have more moments like that.
Always remember:

My baby you'll be."

Thursday 9/10/09
Today is Mommy's BIRTHDAY! In the morning we did our new little routine of hanging out in bed as a family for a while and then around lunch time we went out with Daddy to run some errands, one of which was to the grocery store and Baskin Robins to pick up cake and food for a Birthday BBQ that Daddy planned to have with the Bigler's. At the grocery store I taught Daddy how to place your carseat on a shopping cart...he was amazed how it instantly locked into place, and I was LOVING looking at you as we walked through the store. You have been growing so fast and you are "chunking" up and I LOVE it. I can't get enough of you...you are too cute.
After our errands Aunt Tara called to see if her and Jace could come and hang out for a while...it was so fun just Mommy's and Babies chillin' together. We compared baby feet and BOY you have BIG feet because Jace is 5 months older than you and your feet were only and 1/8" shorter than his...his were wider but HELLO he is older. We also tried to lay you guys down next to each other to hang out but Jace REALLY wanted to play with you and was rolling over and grabbing your arm a little too roughly. So we nixed that idea for now. Panda had a fun time licking Jace all over while he was laying on the ground, it was funny.
A little later everyone came over for the BBQ. You were sacked out for most of it but woke up after dinner and were in my arms while I blew out my candles.

Day 36
Wednesday 9/9/09
This morning after your 6:30am feeding I brought you in bed with Daddy and I put you in the middle. Daddy was still asleep, until you started tickling him. It was so funny. Later I had to scoot over towards Daddy to give you some space then Daddy got up and I though he was going to start working since it was already after 8am. Little did we know he just wanted more space and when we got up a little later we found him sleeping on the couch.
Then this afternoon I gave you a bath and you did so good for Mommy...and you smelt so yummy after (women LOVE the smell of babies). We didn't go anywhere today so we just enjoyed our time together, and you were a good sleeper today and Mommy even got a nap in...which I needed.
In the evening you had a HARD time. I don't know what was going on buy you had your SADDEST cry ever and you were hard to console. You were all clean and fed and I gave you medicine for gas...so I still don't know what was wrong but it was so sad. I hate not knowing what you need or are feeling.

Tuesday 9/8/09
Today I think you were busy GROWING because you slept most of the day. So I did some work for the business while you were napping and when you were not napping...I enjoyed ALL our time together. You make some of the BEST faces after you eat and I love to see what faces you will make each time. Today you made me laugh out loud because they were such cute faces! You are seriously the cutest boy ever. Also, you have this little shake that you do a lot, it is cute you have your hand in a fist and then you shake it real fast. Sometimes your leg does it too, it is like when you scratch a dog behind the ear and they shake their leg real fast out of enjoyment.

Monday 9/7/09
Today is Labor Day so Daddy did not have to work so we slept in as long as we could...which really meant Daddy and I took turns taking care of you for a few extra hours this morning so we could rest a little. We also all hung out in the bed together for a while and you were beating daddy up...you were punching him in the face...it was cute. Then we all went to Ihop for breakfast. You were awake most of the time but you just chilled in your carseat and didn't make a peep. Then while you took your afternoon nap Daddy and I painted the dresser for your room.
Tonight we went over to hour friends house (The Ayres) and they have 2 little boys (4yrs and 1yr old) who were LOVING you. Both boys just wanted to look at you and touch all your hair. Everyone was constantly talking about how cute you are. It was a nice day together as a family.

Sunday 9/6/09
This morning we slept in till almost 9am...you were stirring so I brought you in bed with Daddy and me and you relaxed right down and we were able to sleep in. We just hung out in the morning and you had your first ever "tummy time." You weren't a big fan because you didn't know what you were suppose to do (lift your head and exercise your arms). G'ma and G'pa Stewie had to leave in the morning to drive up to San Francisco area for my cousin Scott's wedding. A short time after they left we decided that we were going to go home. So Daddy and I quickly packed up our stuff and we were off! You slept the entire way home...you were so good. You had some more tummy time on the bed...which you liked a lot better...you just hung out for a while.

Today we hung out in the morning and you were enjoying a lot of awake time. Then Daddy went out to sell pest control for a little while and we went out to lunch to Urban Cafe with G'ma and G'pa. Then we went to Michael's to get stuff for your birth announcements. After that We went to introduce you to Gigi and Aunt Joyce. They LOVED you and had so much fun holding you. You were so excellent...you were calm and quiet and were so easy to pass around. They could not get enough of you. You made Gigi cry with happiness when we told her your middle name is after her husband...she just loved that. Also, you and Aunt Joyce share a birthday. The funniest moment while Gigi was holding you you let out a loud cry and it scared Gigi...she JUMPED. Luckily G'ma Stewie got it on video because it was too cute!
After the visit with Gigi and Aunty J we went out to dinner at Wood Ranch to celebrate Mommy's birthday and your one month birthday! They even brought out ice cream for both of us!
Also today we weighed you and you weigh 10 pounds 7 ounces! Which is how much mommy weighed when I was born. You have grown SO MUCH!!! I cannot believe it.

Friday 9/4/09
Today you went on your first ROAD TRIP. Daddy and I decided we wanted to go to Ventura for the weekend to get out of the HEAT. So after the cleaners finished cleaning our house (we hired cleaners to clean our home every other week so that I can work more on the business) then we packed up and hit the road. We kind of left at a weird time for you and therefore we had to stop along the way to feed you. Then we took a little different road there to avoid traffic. We arrived at G’ma and G’pa Stewie’s house around 7:45pm and they were so excited to see you! It was so nice to be in cool weather and we all slept with the window OPEN! Mommy didn’t sleep very well because I was paranoid all night about how you were doing, wondering if you are cold or comfortable in the car seat, etc. You did GREAT and I did lousy.

Thursday 9/3/09
Today we went with Aunt Tara and Cousin Jace to Target…mostly for fun, but we did need some things. Daddy bought himself some sunglasses so I get to buy myself some clothes. You were awesome like always at the store and hung out and slept the entire time.

Wednesday 9/2/09
Today was just a day at home for us, and I actually gave you a bath all by myself…that is my first time doing that. You needed a bath because you peed on yourself and I didn’t want to just wipe you up…I wanted you to be squeaky clean. You actually did really well this time…no big crying like your first bath. I think that the first bath your water was too cold and this time I made sure it was a little warmer. Also, today you are four weeks old! I cannot believe that time has passed so quickly. I took a bunch of cute pictures of you on the bed today. Just in a striped onesie and on the red blanket…but they look so cute!

Tuesday 9/1/09
This evening daddy needed us to go with him to pick up his truck in Hemet (he had to clean out a storage unit there from the company that we bought). So we took a drive. It was nice to get out of the house and all be in the car together. Daddy and I were able to talk a lot and solve some problems. We decided that we are going to hire a maid so that I don’t have to worry about the house work and I can spend more time with you and have more time to work as well.
