Day 89

Saturday 10/31/09
It is your FIRST HALLOWEEN!!!! We ordered some pizza and walked over to the Bigler's. We quickly ate a few slices and then headed out to trick or treat. You were already zonked out before we even headed out and slept 50% of the time. You woke up when we stopped at our neighbors house to say hello. We had a nice evening trick or treating and afterwards we watch a movie at the Bigler's and you snugled with daddy. I told dad "you can put him down" once you fell asleep, because he always tells me that when you fall asleep in my arms...and what do you think he said? "No, I'm ok!" He snuggled with you through the entire movie. He loves you so much!

Today we tried out your new Moby Wrap. We tried 2 different ways of holding you in it...facing out and the hug hold (facing mamma). You liked it a lot better than your sling. You had a nice nap while mamma got some work done.

Tuesday 10/27/09
We got your Bumbo today and you tried it out...you fit like a glove! You don't like sitting in it for too long yet, since you are still working on your neck muscles. Tonight was the Ward Halloween Party so we got dressed up in our costumes. You are the CUTEST little Banana EVER! Daddy and I were "Banana Farmers." You were majorly in need of a nap so you fell asleep soon after we got to the event. So, we just hung out with Dad at his booth (he was in charge of a booth...it was a carnival type party).

Day 84

Monday 10/26/09
Today was a BIG day...Aunt Tara and Uncle Jon had to go to court today so EARLY in the morning they dropped off Jace and Allie before they left. So, we watched them today. Mommy was a LITTLE stressed. It is hard having 3 kids...2 being babies at different stages. Jace is mobile now and it was hard to keep him safe/entertained and take care of all your needs too. Luckily in the morning Allie was there to help out. While Allie was at school I wanted to do something nice for Tara and Jon so I took a few quick pictures of Jace in his "Mommy and Daddy Love Me" shirt...while doing that I had to take a quick picture of you. It ended up being a GREAT day in court for the Bigler's and they came over to our house afterwards to celebrate. Mommy was SUPER excited for them to get home because my "panic" button was definately turned on taking care of everyone. It always seems like everytime I watch both you and Jace at the same time...you are both NEEDY and it is tricky for me to jugle.

Today Daddy went out of town again but this time he left our car this time. So we ran some errands today. We went to the post office and mailed out over 100 bills, went to the bank, to Joann's, and Target. It was a nice outing. When we were at Joann's in line the older gentleman in front of us asked what isle I found you on and how much you cost. They later said that they just had their first grandson at the end of July...so they were comparing your size to their grandson. They were admiring you and you chunky body, and your alert awareness.

You were VERY talkative today! You were making so many fun talking noises this evening that we called up Grandma Stewie to let her hear you talk. You talked so much I could hardly get a word in edgewise...you wanted to tell my stories for me. I LOVE to hear you talk though...it is my FAVORITE. Your personality is REALLY starting to SHINE!

Today we had a nice hang out morning. Then we took a road trip to Rancho Cucamonga to meet up with possible business partners. Daddy and I needed to find out some more information to make a decision on what we are going to do. You were so calm and just hung out while we all talked business. Everyone said you are SO cute! (which of course is TRUE). While talking Chuck (the business owner) compared business to you...he said, "business is like this baby, you need to feed, nurture, and care for it to make it grow." After a nice drive home we had a nice evening at home as a family...enjoying each other's company!

This morning you showed G'ma and G'pa Stewie how you can roll over!!! They thought you were amazing! I was surprised that you did it so quickly too, because sometimes it takes you a while to remember how to do it. I think you are starting to commit it to memory. Then we went over to the Bigler's house for pancakes. While we were there you and Gramma Stewie got some good snuggles in as usual! We later went home to hang out with Daddy for a little before EVERYONE came over to our house for dinner and a movie.

Today you had a normal day...sleep and play. In the evening we went over to the Bigler's when they got back from going to court and G'ma and G'pa Stewie were there to, so they came down for the weekend. Mommy made cookies for everyone and you played with G'ma Stewie.

Day 65

Thursday 10/8/09
Today you had a strange day. In the morning I was trying to transition you into your pack n play for sleeping (since right now you sleep in your swing). I tried all morning to rock you to sleep, put you down, and keep you asleep. Then, I gave up because you were so tired. I put you in your swing and you slept most of the rest of the day. What was weird about the day for me was normally we have some fun play time together but today we didn't. You were either asleep or in the "zone," you were just a sleepy boy all day. Must be growing!

Day 64

Wednesday 10/7/09
I thought today was going to be another day at home, Daddy was out getting our car windows tinted so we were stuck at home. Then, Daddy called and said get Hunter ready we are going out for a surprise. I was excited to go on an adventure, so we quickly got ready to go. We ended up taking a drive out to Mira Loma to meet up with Paul (Daddy's "business partner"). It was mostly business...and we drove around a lot. After Daddy doing "business" we went back to Paul's house and hung out with his family. His 2 year old daughter loved you. She just wanted to stare at you all the time. It was a nice change, and a fun little day trip.

Today I did your two month photo shoot. I took some just in a cute onsie from Aunt Bianca, and I also took some with you naked and wrapped in my "best blankie." When I was little I had a "best blankie" and I still have it, so I wanted to take a picture of my child wrapped up in my childhood. I tried to get you to sleep for the blankie photo shoot, but you will not have that. I had you fast asleep but you would not go back to sleep after I took your PJ's off. I don't think I will ever get a phot shoot with you asleep. You like to be alert! In the end I don't care that you weren't asleep...because you are so cute and I love all the pictures I took.

Day 62

Monday 10/5/09
Today you are 2 MONTHS OLD!!! This morning during tummy time you ROLLED OVER! You technically did it once a few days ago, but today you did it 3x in a row! The first time I actually caught on tape because it was kind of a work in progress. You started to prop yourself up so I quickly hit record. Then you pushed yourself on your side....and finally you kicked a few times and where on your back. So, I called Daddy into the room and put you on your belly again and you did it a lot quicker, and in one motion. We tried it again and you rolled over so fast I didn't even have time to turn on the camera. Then we tried to get it on camera and you got camera shy, and cranky. You went down for a nap right after that.
In the evening when we were playing I was "rapping" for you and you were loving it. You first stared at me strangely, then laughed, and even danced a little. It was fun. I love our moments together.

Day 61

Sunday 10/4/09
Today you had some SUPER fun play time today. You were laughing at Daddy making funny faces at you. You love your Daddy and I love to see the two of you interact. You also had some tummy time that you weren't too happy about. You did not want to use your muscles to lift your head up...I think you just wanted a nap. All in all it was another nice day chillin' at home in our PJ's watching Conference and being a fun family.

Day 60

Saturday 10/3/09
Today was your first General Conference...you actually watched the first session. You sat on the the bed laying on Mommy's pillow watching the laptop (we watched it online). Since it was Conference we all stayed in our PJ's all day. We had a nice and calm day. You had a lot of good naps while Mommy COOKED. I made two types of bread (banana and pumpkin chocolate chip), lunch, and dinner for the missionaries.

Day 59

Friday 10/2/09
This morning you got some Daddy time, he watched you while Mommy went to see Dr. Bodon. Your Daddy loves you so much...and you have so much fun with him. He usually does a lot of exercises with you, or slings you over his shoulder. it is to cute. Later we picked Allie up from school and after we hung out at the Bigler's. While there you watch a Baby Einstein movie for the first time and you LOVED it. You sat in the bouncer and kicked your legs and smiled. Allie also had a fun time playing with you. She loves you! Then tonight I attempted to put you to sleep in the pack and play...but that is going to take a while to get you use to sleeping on a flat surface. You are so use to sleeping in your comfy swing. We will keep trying. I want to get you use to the pack and play, and get you sleeping through the night and then I will transfer you into your bedroom.

Day 58

Thursday 10/1/09
This morning while watching you at the gym, you like to kick some of the toys, and I think you were doing it on purpose. You always love to kick you legs like you are running away, or riding a bike, but you were kicking one leg out to the side to hit the toy. You are so smart and I know that you were figuring out what you like.
Later we ran a bunch of errands...doing some returns. You looked so cute in you carrier at Walmart, just chillin' that I had to take a picture of you.

Day 57

Wednesday 9/30/09
This morning while you were "exercising" I put you on your belly for some tummy time and a few minutes later BAM...you ROLLED OVER!!!! Now it was probably a little bit of a fluke, and you probably wont do it again for a long time, BUT you did it all by yourself. You were holding your head up and then trying to rest it on your right arm. Then you straighten out your left arm and your weight propelled you. It was so exciting! I told Daddy to look and put you back on your tummy to see if you could do it again, but no luck. I will definitely continue to do tummy time for you as much as possible to see when you realize you can flip your self over.

Day 56

Tuesday 9/29/09
Today Daddy had to go to some meetings out of town and he took our car, so we couldn't go anywhere. We had to meet up with the Bigler's to take their family photo, but on top of the fact that we didn't have a car, the stroller was in the trunk of the car, so I carried you in your carrier to the park...and boy you are getting heavy. I weighed you on our scale and you are pushing 13 or 14 pounds not. Our scale isn't digital so it is hard to read exactly, but I know you are GROWING!
Also, while we were playing today I was able to catch a GREAT smile picture! I LOVE that you are smiling at me more and more. You are also starting to play with your tongue more...it is cute.

Monday 9/28/09
Another day around the house with Mommy...play time, naps, tummy time, and eating. I really enjoy every minute with you, watching you grow and learn new things. One of my favorite things is your laugh, sometimes when you are laughing you cough a little...it is too cute. Then dinner at the Bigler's.

Sunday 9/27/09
At church today you would NOT sleep...which stressed Mommy out a little bit because I had to make copies for Relief Society and then conduct the Relief Society meeting. Daddy tried to take you for a while but then handed you off because you were crying and needed me. It all worked out in the end. One of the women in RS held you for a little while and I had to pry you out of her arms. You are just too cute, no one wants to give you up.
One of your new favorite things during play time is for me to sing you songs with hand motions. Your favorite is "Itsy Bitsy Spider" because the spider climbs up over your head and you like to look up at it.

Didn't to anything note worthy today but I just MARVEL at how much I LOVE you! and how everyday I love you more and more. It is indescribable how much I care for you and how I think you are the cutest little guy ever.

Friday 9/25/09
Today we played a lot in the morning...we practiced our "smiles," we had some time in the "GYM" (baby gym of course), and some "tummy time." I was trying to capture a smile on camera, which was hard because you will smile at me but when I put a camera in front of my face you stop. I finally caught this cute smile and I got some video.
Your MILESTONE for the day was that you grabbed and held onto a toy on your own!!! I was so excited.

Day 51

Thursday 9/24/09
Today you had a ROUGH day...something was making you not feel well at all. Normally you are an excellent night sleeper and were down to only waking up once a night, but last night you were up every 2 hours screaming. Most of the time you were not hungry, something was just bugging you inside and you needed to be comforted back to sleep. Then during the day you had similar problems. I have been reading my "Babies First Year" book and thought that maybe you could be dehydrated so I fed you A LOT today. Towards the end of the day I was nervous so I called the Doctor. He said he did not think you were dehydrated since you were having wet diapers and to wait through the night and if in the morning you were still having the same problems to call and make an appointment. After not having really any naps through the day you finally zonked out around 6pm and got a nap in. We will see how the night goes. I hope you feel better!!!!

We went to help the Bigler's unpack today...pretty uneventfal for you, but you had a MASSIVE blow out while we were there. You rarely have one, at this point in your life I could probably count them on one hand.
In the evening while snuggling you to bed I had Daddy take a picture of us, since I'm usually the one taking the pictures.

You love to hang out on your changing table (aka my vanity) and stare at yourself in the mirror. You have so much fun and it is so cute. You sometimes even look at me through the mirror and we have fun times together!

Monday 9/21/09
This morning you SMILED at ME for REAL!!! I was talking to you and you looked at me and smiled for a long time then Grandma Stewie talked to you and you smiled at her. We did it multiple times and you kept on looking up and smiling. It was so exciting to have you actually react to us. I can't wait for all the smiles to come!
We went shopping with Grandma Stewie, Aunt Tara and Jace to look for new couches for the Bigler's. We were out and about all day and you did awesome. You are such a good baby boy. Also you were wearing the cutest shirt today, it said "My Dad is RAD" so you were telling the world today how cool your dad is.

This morning while mommy was getting ready you hunk out with G'ma and when I came to get you so she could get ready...you were blowing bubbles. So, I ran to get my camera to capture it. After church today we went over to the Bigler's to help them unpack some more. You got some good snuggle time in with Gramma Stewie during your nap while Daddy and I swam with cousin Allie.

Friday 9/18/09
Today Daddy went out of town for a few days so we are on our own for 48hours. We went to help Tara and Jace finish cleaning up and you and Jace hung out together for a while in the EMPTY house. Then this evening we walked over to Tara and Jon's house with Panda. It was fun...you did so good and I think had fun. It was a nice walk and I'm excited to do it again.

Today was a hang out day. You hung out in your swing, with Mommy, and with Panda on the bed. Panda loves you, she likes to give you kisses. I make sure she doesn't give you kisses on the face...because that is yuck. If Mommy doesn't like it then I figure you wont like it either.

Wednesday 9/16/09
Today Mommy had an appointment with Dr. Bodon. I was so excited for her to see you again since she helped bring you into this world, and was my eyes into your world while you were growing in my belly. She is an AMAZING Doctor filled with knowledge, kindness, and understanding. When she walked into the room she came in with the normal Doctor question of "how are you doing?" but before I could even answer she saw you and was enthralled and was saying how cute you were. She also said that you were about the sized of her little girl who is 4 months old. I then told her that you are almost 12 pounds, and she said her little girl is only 10 pounds. You are a little chunk! It was so fun to see her and show you off.

In the evening we went to the Biglers to help them pack.

Day 42

Tuesday 9/15/09
Today we relaxed and then help the Bigler's pack up. You just started to blow bubbles...it is so cute. I haven't been able to get a picture yet but I'm sure you will continue to do it. ;o)

Day 41

Monday 9/14/09
Today you had your one month Doctor appointment and you have grown SO MUCH! You weighed 11 lbs. 10 oz., 21.5" Long, and 15.5" head circumference. You also got your Hepatitis B vaccination. While we were there I had a few questions for the Doctor, the biggest question I had was about you tongue. The conection under your tongue is very close to the tip of your tongue and I have been wondering if that will affect your speach in the future or if your tongue will grow. So I asked the Doctor to look at it and to tel me if it might need to be clipped. He looked and then said "I'm going to go get some scissors." Now I did not hear him say scissors and so I thought he was just going to get the shot, but when he came back I saw them in his hand and was SHOCKED. I said, "your going to do it now?" he said "yes it is a little tight." I didn't want to look but unfortunately I had to help him hold your arms down. It was one quick snip and he quickly gave you your shot in the leg. He then told me "pick him up and tell him you're sorry." I loved that because as your mom I want to protect you from EVERYTHING especially pain and so it is hard for me to watch you go through even a little pain like a vaccination even though I know in the long run it is good for you. So I snuggled you and then fed you and you calmed right down. You are such a brave boy. I love you so much!!!!
